I’m so happy ,because the Iraqi  journalist  is free now. The guy who threw his shoes at the former president of the United states George W Boush during a conference in Iraq.I’m so glad and happy thus I’m writing here. At the same time I’m not happy ,because I know that there are a lot of people who didn’t do any thing are now there in the prison they are suffering from the bad dealings they are encoutering now. And their parents, sisters and brothers don’t know any thing about them. I really hope that all  the prisoners in the world will become  free ,to enjoy the life and live in peace. I really hope that from the deep of my heart.

th negative and positive effect of computer usage

Children gain negative effects more than positive by using computer daily. Some people argue that it’s good and useful while others want completely prevent. In this essay I’m going to discuss this issue from different sides.

Some people believe that usage of computer daily is good for their children for many reasons. One reason is that, it increases their knowledge by browsing different websites daily. Furthermore, it makes them get familiar with computer skills especially in this time, because it’s good for their future. Moreover, they think that it can make their children sitting at home and be safe with their parents. However, there are  lots of problems will happen if the parents let their children spend their time using computer. First of all, they will miss the communication with their society. Secondly, they will be less creative than other children. Finally, they will hurt their eyes by sitting in front of this screen for long time.

In my opinion, I think that using computer everyday is a bad habitat that can cause lots of health risks on our children as well as it has a clear effect on their psychology.

In conclusion, we should manage our children’s time to get better lifestyle and make their life more successful.

 

English is a big business?!!

English language now is spreading vastly and rapidly, because it’s a global language

All the people in the world try to learn this language, because it’s the only language that they can use to deal with other people from different countries around the world and with this language they can learn and increase their knowledge

 

In my opinion, I think English language is a big business especially for the UK and the US for many reasons. First , they are the main countries of this language, so their sources such as: textbooks, tapecassettes, video programmed……..etc will be more trusted than other sources from other countries

Second, the students will not hesitate to study in these countries which will make these countries gain a lot of money from these students. Finally, lots of foreign countries prefer to bring teachers and tutors from these countries, because they are the native speakers and it will make the students learn faster from them and it will be more efficient.

 

In conclusion, as we see it’s obvious that English language is a big business for these countries.

 

 

The film

I watched this film 2 years ago. Actually, it is a very nice film. It’s about a boy from a poor family. He is maybe 7 or 8 years old. He lives with his parent and grandparents.One day a chocolate factory called “Willy Wonka” advertised that 5 persons can visit this this factory for one day if they find a ticket in a Willy Wonka’s candy bar .

The people around the world try to get this ticket ,so they were competing to find this ticket. After a few days later 2 boys and 2 girls found this ticket from this candy bar. But charlie couldn’t buy any candy bar ,because he is poor ,but suddenly, when he was walking in the street he found 5$ among the snow. He wanted to buy a candy bar ,but he said that his family is more important than the this candy bar. So he gave the 5$ to his parent ,but they didn’t accept the money and they told him that it is a great chance to get one candy bar and maybe he can find this ticket and have a chance to visit this amazing factory. finally, he found it and he went to this factory with his grandfather Joe.

My best friend

As any normal person in this world I have many friends, but my best friend is Shaima. She is my friend since we were in the first year in the primary school. I don’t remember how I have met her, but I think that all of the children in this period of age don’t care about the other side Aof their friends they just seek for someone to play with them and spend the time together. But when we grew up year after year we will be able to know each other in approach. So I knew that I can’t imagine my life without her. I and Shaima have the same name. Actually Shaima is an Egyptian girl, so she is from an Arabic roots, but I’m an Iranian from a Persian roots. Peoples can know their friend from their behaves and quality like patience, kindness and trustee. And I found these qualities in Shaima. She is very trustworthy and knows all my secrets. So every time I thank god, because he gave me a good friend like Shaima.

24 Julay,2009 About myself and my family

My name is shaima . I am 19 years old. I am studying at Qatar University, but I am until now in the foundation years .I will explain the meaning of the foundation years in my University .Actually, Qatar University has two years called Foundation Program for its new students. In these two years the student must study 3 subjects English, Math, and Computer. The student has to choose either to study for two years, or to take placement tests for each of these subjects to take the exemption and go straight to the college. Until now I have finished Math and Computer, but I didn’t pass the TOEFL test, so I must complete English levels unless I took the IELTS score.

I will study computer science in the engineering college. I have chosen this major ,because I want to learn more about computer ,but first I want to  improve my English language ,because it will be the language that I will use to deal with my Doctors and Professors in my university and I want to get the IELTS score.

Now I will talk briefly about my family. We are a big family consists of 4 boys and 5 girls. All of my brothers and sisters are older than me except Amna, my little sister; she is 4 years younger than me.

My father is working in the passport and immigration office as a typewriter, but my mother doesn’t work she just stays at home.

Actually, we are originally from Iran. My family came from Iran 25years ago. I hope that I can visit my country, because I haven’t been gone to my country at all. Also, I have alt of relatives in Iran who I didn’t see until now.

Anyway, I’m enjoying living here in Qatar, because there are a lot of similarities in Qatar and Iran such as the religion, culture and traditions. So I feel that Qatar is my country. Also because I didn’t visit Iran at all and I don’t have any friend there all of my friends are here. So Qatar is my real country.
